This rare little book on different and important photographs of Samuel Beckett by eminent photographers like Gisele Freund Brassai, Sabine Weiss etc. comes from the library of irish writer Derek Mahon, who subsequently gave the book to his friend, irish photographer legend John Minihan. The book was inscribed to Derek Mahon by irish film director Seán O’Mórdha and the inscription reads: “for Derek Mahon, In admiration, at UCG, Gaillimh, 29/6/2001, with best wishes, Séan O’ Mordha”.
